Amber is a resin produced by coniferous pine trees ( pinus succinifere ) that has taken millions of years to form. Amber is entirely organic and its composition closely resembles that of original resin. Amber can be found in many parts of the world, however the best quality amber ( suitable for making jewellery ) can be found in vicinity of baltic sea.
The richest deposits of baltic amber ( succinate ) are located on southern shores of baltic sea, around gdansk bay, at the base of the hell peninsula, vistula river delta and sambia.
Amber is classified as a non-metallic mineral which belongs to the hydrocarbon group.

A person attracted to amber is worm sensitive and of good nature. It is believed that amber is best for a soothing effect when warm around a neck.
